Ingredients: Brown Rice Bulgur. Contains wheat gluten.
Do not get it wet or wash it. Cook 1 glass of bulgur using 2.5 glasses of boiling water.
Recipe - Red beets salad:
Materials; To cook the beets; 10 red beets, 10 cloves of garlic, 4 tablespoons of Riviera olive oil, 10 sprigs of fresh thyme, salt and black pepper. For bulgur salad; 1 glass of bulgur for brown rice, 4 spring onions, 10 cherry tomatoes, 1 tablespoon of chopped marjoram, 150 g of Izmir tulum, 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper.
For service; 5-6 pieces of lettuce
Preparation; Cut the stems of the beets 10 cm away and wash them very carefully with a brush. Peel them very thinly and cut them in half. Place in a baking tray and season with thyme sprigs, garlic cloves, Riviera olive oil, salt and pepper. Divide the beets with the garlic cloves into 5 equal amounts. Wrap each beet cluster tightly in a sheet of foil, keeping out any air. Bake the beets in the oven at 180 degrees for 1 hour. At the end of the cooking process, remove the foil and continue baking in the oven for another 20 minutes to brown the beets. Boil the bulgur in 3 glasses of water for 1 hour until you are sure it is cooked. Strain and rinse off excess starch by running cold water over them. Place the cooled bulgur in an oval bowl. Chop the spring onion and tomato, and chop the hyssop by removing its branches. Add it to the salad. Break the Tulum cheese into pieces with your hands and add it to the salad. Season with salt, pepper and olive oil. Remove the cooked beets from the oven and cool. Place the prepared salad on a serving plate and serve with lettuce leaves and beets. Warning: If you mix beets with the salad you have prepared, you may spoil the appearance of your salad by giving its color to the salad. Enjoy your meal.
