Do not get it wet or wash it. Cook 1 glass of bulgur using 2 glasses of boiling water.
Recipe - Bulgur pilaf with chicken:
Materials; 1 cup Duru Midyat Bulgur, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 100g cubed chicken breast, 4 finely chopped spring onions, apricots chopped into small cubes, 1 teaspoon butter, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 2 cups of boiling water.
Preparation; Put olive oil and butter in a shallow pan. When it melts, add the chicken cubes and saute over low heat for 3 minutes. Add finely chopped onion and apricots chopped into small cubes and sauté for another 3 minutes. Then add Duru Midyat Bulgur, salt, black pepper and boiling water and let it cook on low heat for 15 minutes until the bulgur is golden brown. You can serve it after resting for 20 minutes. Enjoy your meal.
